How is MiL Managed?

Making it Local Action Group (LAG)

The LAG (Local Action Group) is the Partnership body which directs the delivery of the Making it Local Programme. It needs to have representation across social, environmental and economic interests. The Making it Local LAG  is made up of the following groups:

  • Executive Members Group (EMG) - this is the decision making body and managing group for the LAG.
  • Wider LAG - gives the programme its accountability with a wide membership from the local and wider communities, and informs the overall direction for the Programme. This group meets once or twice a year.
  • Programme Stakeholders - interested groups, organisations, businesses and individuals from the programme area's wider community. They receive regular programme information, are invited to events and will be able to submit projects and activities for funding.
